How to Capture a Dragon

We haven’t put our Big Write on the blog for a little while so this week we have chosen 4 children’s writing! We have been writing instructions on how to capture a dragon. We hope you like them and will follow them to find your very own dragon.

Andrew wrote:

First collect you equipment and go outside.

Next tiptoe around the playground.

Then search with a torch and a net.

After that search for clues.

Now creep up on him and catch him.

Finally wrap him in a warm towel.

First collect your equipment and get ready to go outside.

Next creep up to the tree so you don’t scare or frighten him.

Then find footprints and follow them.

After that look under some bushes with a torch.

Now look for a little blue bit that could be Dougie.

Finally take Dougie to the teacher.

First collect all of your equipment and get ready to go outside.

Then find some footprints and follow them.

Next catch him and wrap him in a warm blanket.

Finally sing sweet songs to rock him to sleep and take him inside.

Next tiptoe around the playground and search for footsteps.

Now shine your torch on the path to show you where to go.

Then sneak up to the tree and catch the dragon.

After that wrap him with a warm blanket.

Finally take him back inside and put the heating on.

Well done everyone we are so proud of your brilliant writing!
